Carafe does not sit flat on hotplate; brewing stops when carafe is bumped

Safety: Ensure the unit is off and cool before adjusting the carafe or hotplate.

• Clean hotplate: Remove any coffee residue or debris from the hotplate surface.
• Check carafe base: Inspect the bottom of the carafe for warping or damage. Replace if it does not sit flat.
• Inspect sensing lever (if equipped): Some models have a lever that detects the presence of the carafe. Ensure it moves freely and is not bent. Gently bend back into position if misaligned.
