Possible Causes
Debris blocking reservoir outlet hole, Airlock in inlet tube, Scale buildup at reservoir base, Misaligned reservoir (on removable-tank models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug and allow the unit to cool before inspecting the reservoir area.
- Inspect reservoir outlet: Look at the bottom of the water reservoir for the inlet hole. Clear any visible debris with a toothpick and rinse thoroughly.
- Tap to release air: Fill the reservoir and gently tap the sides to dislodge any trapped air bubbles in the inlet area.
- Descale: Run a descaling cycle to clear any mineral buildup at the reservoir outlet and in the inlet tube.
- Check inlet tube (advanced): Remove the base and verify that the tube from the reservoir to the boiler is not kinked or blocked. Replace if necessary.
