How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before working on the control panel.

  • Clean surface: Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly.
  • Panel removal (advanced): Remove the front cover to access the keypad board. Clean the underside of rubber buttons or membrane with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
  • Reseat connector: Ensure the keypad ribbon cable is fully inserted into the main PCB connector.

Note: If the membrane is physically worn or cracked, the entire keypad assembly should be replaced.
