Possible Causes

Bent or misaligned drip-stop lever, Warped carafe lid, Debris under carafe platform, Damaged carafe sensor (on some models)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before adjusting mechanical parts.

  • Clean platform: Remove the carafe and clean the warming plate and surrounding area to remove coffee residue.
  • Inspect drip-stop: Look up into the filter holder and check that the drip-stop valve moves freely when pressed by hand. Clean and lubricate lightly with food-safe silicone if needed.
  • Check carafe lid: Ensure the lid is not warped and that the center projection properly contacts the drip-stop lever.

Note: Replace the carafe or filter holder assembly if parts are deformed.
