Possible Causes
Scale buildup in thermoblock, Clogged filter basket outlet, Partially blocked silicone hoses, Weak vibration pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and let the unit cool before descaling.
- Descale thoroughly: Run at least one full tank of descaling solution through the Tristar coffee maker, then two tanks of clean water. Repeat if flow is still slow.
- Clean filter components: Wash the filter basket, permanent filter (if used), and brew head area to remove coffee oils and fines.
- Check for kinks (advanced): Remove the bottom cover and inspect hoses for kinks or partial collapse. Replace any hardened hoses.
Note: If descaling does not improve flow, the pump may be weakening and require replacement.
