How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool completely before working on the steam system.

  • Descale: Run a descaling cycle focusing on the steam function if your Tristar model supports it. Otherwise, run several cycles while activating the steam mode.
  • Check selector valve (advanced): Inspect the steam selector knob and internal valve for proper movement. Replace if seized or leaking.
