Possible Causes
Carafe not detected or not seated, Brew basket not fully inserted, Drip-stop lever not in correct position, Faulty start button or touchpad
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit if you need to move or tilt it.
- Check carafe: Ensure the carafe is fully inserted and its lid is properly aligned. Some Wolf Gourmet models will not brew unless the carafe is in place.
- Verify brew basket: Remove and reinstall the brew basket, making sure it is fully seated and the lid (if present) is closed.
- Drip-stop position: Confirm that the drip-stop mechanism is not stuck in the closed position. Move it gently and clean any dried coffee residue.
- Control lock: Check the user manual to see if your model has a control lock or child lock feature. If so, disable it according to the instructions.
- If inputs still unresponsive: The start button or touch panel membrane may be failing, or the control board may not be reading the input. Professional service is recommended.
