Possible Causes

Drip-stop lever stuck in closed position, Misaligned carafe not depressing drip-stop, Sensor switch under basket faulty, Coffee grounds blocking basket outlet

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool. Hot coffee and steam can cause burns.

  • Check carafe alignment: Ensure the carafe is fully pushed in so that its lid properly engages the drip-stop mechanism under the brew basket.
  • Inspect drip-stop: Remove the brew basket and manually move the drip-stop lever or valve. It should move freely and spring back. Clean any dried coffee residue with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  • Clean basket outlet: Check the bottom of the brew basket for clogs. Rinse the basket and outlet thoroughly to clear any blockage.
  • Reassemble and test: Reinstall the basket and carafe, plug the unit back in, and run a water-only brew cycle to confirm proper flow.
  • If E07 persists: The internal drip-stop sensor switch or its wiring may be defective. Accessing this switch requires disassembly of the upper housing; contact a qualified technician.
