Possible Causes
Blown internal fuse, Faulty power switch, Damaged power cord, Failed main control board power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the coffee maker before any disassembly. Mains voltage is dangerous.
- Verify outlet and cord: Test the outlet with another device. Inspect the Zwilling power cord for cuts or burns. Replace the cord if damaged.
- Check power switch: If your model has a mechanical power rocker, ensure it clicks and is not stuck. Access the switch from inside and test continuity with a multimeter.
- Inspect internal fuse: Remove the bottom or rear cover to locate the fuse on the input board or main PCB. Replace only with the same rating if blown. If it blows again immediately, a short exists.
- Look for visible board damage: Burn marks or bulging capacitors on the main board indicate failure; the board should be replaced as a unit.
- If unsure: Because of shock risk, consider having a qualified technician replace the control board or power module.
