Safety: Unplug before internal checks; taste issues can often be resolved without opening the machine.

Adjust grind and dose: Set the grinder finer and increase coffee dose within Zwilling's recommended range.
Preheat machine: Allow the machine to warm up for several minutes and run a blank shot or rinse before brewing.
Descale: Perform a full descaling cycle to restore proper temperature control.
Clean shower screen: Remove and clean the brew head shower screen to ensure even water distribution.
Check brew temperature (advanced): Use a thermometer at the spout to verify brew temperature. If significantly below spec, the thermoblock sensor or control board may need replacement.
