Machine displays E02 and stops brewing; water does not flow through the coffee spout.

Safety: Unplug the machine before opening any covers. Hot water and steam can cause burns.

• Check water tank: Ensure the tank is fully seated and filled with fresh water. Make sure the tank valve (if present) opens when inserted.
• Run a priming cycle: Fill the tank, plug in, and run a hot water or rinse cycle (if the machine allows it before error appears). Sometimes repeated start/stop can clear an air lock.
• Descale the machine: If the machine can still run a descale program, run a full descaling using a Zwilling-approved descaler. Scale can block the flow meter and internal tubing.
• Access the flow meter: Unplug the unit. Remove the top or rear cover to locate the plastic flow meter (usually a small round or oval white plastic component in-line between the water tank and pump).
• Inspect hoses: Check silicone hoses to and from the flow meter for kinks, pinches, or blockages. Straighten or replace as needed.
• Clean or replace flow meter: Remove the flow meter, flush it with warm water, and gently shake to free any debris. If the internal wheel does not spin freely when you blow gently through it, replace the flow meter.
• Check wiring: Ensure the flow meter's connector is firmly seated on the control board and that wires are not broken.
• Reassemble and test: Refit all parts, refill the tank, and test a rinse or brew cycle.
