Possible Causes
Dirty or damp filters, Dust bin not cleaned regularly, Pet hair and organic debris trapped in cyclone, Bacteria growth on foam filters
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals inside the vacuum.
- 1. Empty and wash bin: Remove the dust bin and wash it thoroughly with mild detergent and warm water if allowed by Beko. Rinse and dry completely.
- 2. Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters with lukewarm water and allow to dry for at least 24 hours. Replace any non-washable or heavily soiled filters.
- 3. Clean cyclone surfaces: Wipe accessible cyclone surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and dry fully.
- 4. Deodorise gently: Place a small vacuum-safe deodorising tablet or sachet (approved for vacuums) near the filter, not directly on the motor.
- 5. Regular maintenance: Empty the bin after each use and clean filters regularly to prevent odour build-up.
