Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone shroud, Blocked wand or tools, Torn or missing bin gasket, Cracked dust bin or main body seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting for blockages or leaks.
- 1. Check for blockages: Detach the wand, tools, and floor head. Look through each part toward a light source and remove any obstructions with a flexible rod or brush.
- 2. Clean cyclone and bin: Remove the dust bin and cyclone assembly. Tap gently to dislodge fine dust from the mesh shroud. Wash the bin if allowed and dry thoroughly.
- 3. Inspect seals and gaskets: Examine the rubber gasket where the bin meets the main body and around the filter housing. Replace any flattened, torn, or missing seals with genuine Beko gaskets.
- 4. Check for cracks: Look for hairline cracks in the bin or main body that could cause air leaks. Replace cracked components.
- 5. Test suction at the main inlet: With the bin and filters fitted, run the vacuum and feel suction directly at the main inlet. If strong there but weak at the floor head, the issue is in the wand or nozzle.
