Possible Causes
Extended use on maximum power, Blocked airflow causing high current draw, Battery cells deteriorated and heating under load, Charging immediately after heavy use
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery immediately and place it on a non-flammable surface away from direct sunlight. Do not attempt to cool it with water.
- 1. Allow to cool: Let the battery cool to room temperature before handling further or attempting to recharge.
- 2. Check airflow: Inspect and clean all filters, bin, wand, and nozzle to reduce load on the motor and battery.
- 3. Adjust usage: Avoid running continuously on turbo mode; use normal mode for most cleaning.
- 4. Inspect battery age: If the battery is older or has many charge cycles, overheating may indicate internal degradation. Replace with a new genuine Beko battery.
- 5. Monitor on next use: After cooling and cleaning, test again. If the battery heats excessively within a few minutes, discontinue use and replace it.
