Possible Causes

Blocked floor nozzle or brushroll, Clogged cyclone assembly or pre-motor filter, Failing main suction motor, Shorted motor wiring in main body

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove the battery pack before cleaning or disassembling.

  • 1. Inspect the floor nozzle: Remove the motorised floor head from the wand. Check for hair, threads, or debris wrapped around the brushroll and at the side bearings. Cut away obstructions with scissors and pull them free.
  • 2. Clear the air path: Detach the wand and look through it toward a light source. Remove any blockages. Check the inlet at the main body and the nozzle neck for compacted dust.
  • 3. Clean filters: Remove the dust bin and take out the cyclone and pre-motor filter (usually a foam or fabric filter). Tap gently over a bin to remove dust. If the filter is washable (check Beko manual), rinse with lukewarm water only and allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours before refitting.
  • 4. Check the brushroll drive: On motorised heads, ensure the brushroll spins freely by hand. If it is stiff or seized, the motor draws excess current and triggers E02. Clean bearings and end caps; replace the brushroll if melted or deformed.
  • 5. Test without accessories: Refit the dry filter and battery. Run the vacuum without the wand or floor head attached. If E02 still appears quickly, the main suction motor or internal wiring may be failing and will need professional diagnosis.
