Possible Causes
Incorrect charger used (wrong voltage), Faulty Beko charger overcharging the pack, Battery pack internal BMS fault, Damaged charging port or dock contacts
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the charger from mains and remove the battery from the vacuum.
- 1. Verify charger model: Check that the charger’s model number and output voltage match the specifications in your Beko cordless vacuum manual. Do not use chargers from other brands or devices.
- 2. Inspect charger and dock: Look for signs of overheating, melted plastic, or a burnt smell on the charger plug, cable, and dock contacts. If any damage is present, stop using the charger immediately.
- 3. Clean charging contacts: Use a dry cloth to clean the metal contacts on the battery and dock. Ensure there is no corrosion or debris causing poor connection.
- 4. Allow battery to rest: Leave the battery disconnected from both charger and vacuum for at least 1 hour at room temperature. Then reconnect to the correct charger and monitor for normal charging lights.
- 5. Try another genuine charger: If available, test with a different genuine Beko charger. If E07 disappears, replace the original charger.
- 6. Battery replacement: If E07 persists with a known-good charger, the battery’s internal protection/BMS circuit may be damaged. Replace the battery pack; do not attempt to open or repair it.
