Battery Capacity / Cell Degradation Fault
Cordless vacuum displays E09 and the LED battery indicator shows very low charge even after a full night on the charger.

Possible Causes
Aged lithium-ion cells with reduced capacity, Internal cell imbalance detected by BMS, Repeated deep discharges damaging the pack, Storage in high temperature environment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger and remove the battery before inspection.
- 1. Confirm charging time: Ensure the battery has been on the charger for the full recommended time (typically 3–5 hours). Watch the charger LED to confirm it transitions to a steady or full indicator.
- 2. Test runtime: Fully charge the battery, then run the vacuum continuously on normal mode until it stops. If runtime is significantly below the specification (e.g., only a few minutes), the pack is degraded.
- 3. Avoid deep discharge: If the vacuum has often been run until it completely stops, the cells may be damaged. Going forward, recharge when the low-battery indicator first appears.
- 4. Environmental check: Do not charge or store the vacuum in very hot or very cold locations (garages, sheds). Move it to a room-temperature environment.
- 5. Replace the battery: E09 typically indicates the battery pack has reached end of life. Replace with a genuine Beko battery pack of the correct model. Dispose of the old pack at a proper battery recycling facility.
