Possible Causes
Damaged charging dock contacts, Broken charging cable, Faulty charging PCB inside vacuum, Loose internal wiring from charge port to battery
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the charger from mains before inspecting the dock or charge port.
- 1. Inspect dock and plug: Check the Beko charging dock or plug-in connector for bent, recessed, or corroded contacts. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
- 2. Check cable integrity: Flex the cable gently along its length while observing the charger LED. If the LED flickers, the cable may be internally broken and the charger should be replaced.
- 3. Test direct charging (if supported): Some Beko models allow direct connection of the charger to the battery or handle. Try this method to determine if the dock itself is faulty.
- 4. Verify wall outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power is present. Avoid using extension leads or multi-plugs with high loads.
- 5. Internal inspection: If the charger and dock appear fine, the internal charging PCB or wiring may be damaged. This requires opening the main body to inspect the charge port connections and small charging board.
- 6. Professional repair: Because charging circuits involve mains isolation and safety, replacement of the charging PCB or dock wiring should be performed by a qualified technician.
