Possible Causes
Pre-motor filter clogged with fine dust, HEPA/post-motor filter saturated, Filter not seated properly in its housing, Use of non-genuine or incorrect filter element
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before handling filters.
- 1. Remove and inspect filters: Take out the pre-motor filter (foam/fabric) and the HEPA/post-motor filter. Check for heavy dust build-up or discoloration.
- 2. Clean or replace: If the filters are washable per Beko instructions, rinse under lukewarm water without detergents. Squeeze gently (do not twist) and allow to air dry completely for at least 24 hours. If filters are damaged, torn, or permanently discoloured, replace them with genuine Beko filters.
- 3. Check seating: Ensure each filter is fully inserted and the filter cover clicks into place. Misaligned filters can trigger E11 and allow dust to bypass.
- 4. Reset indicator: Some Beko models require a manual reset of the filter indicator (e.g., press and hold a specific button for several seconds). Refer to your user manual for the exact procedure.
- 5. Regular maintenance: Clean filters at the interval recommended by Beko (often monthly for heavy use) to prevent recurrence of E11 and protect the motor.
