Possible Causes
Damaged electrical contacts between wand and floor head, Broken wiring inside wand, Faulty PCB inside motorised nozzle, Short circuit in brush motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floor head and wand before inspection.
- 1. Inspect contacts: Look at the electrical contacts on the end of the wand and on the motorised head. Clean any dust or oxidation with a dry cloth. Ensure spring-loaded pins move freely.
- 2. Check wand continuity: If you have a multimeter, test continuity between the contacts at each end of the wand. A break indicates internal wire damage; the wand should be replaced.
- 3. Test with another head/wand: If available, connect a different Beko motorised head or wand. If E12 disappears, the original head or wand is faulty.
- 4. Inspect head cable: Gently flex the cable entry point where it meets the head while the unit is briefly powered (battery inserted). If the brush cuts in and out, the internal cable or PCB is failing.
- 5. Replace faulty module: Motorised heads are usually not serviceable at component level. Replace the complete motorised floor nozzle or wand assembly as specified for your model.
