Possible Causes
Broken wire inside wand harness, Loose wand-to-body connector, Damaged nozzle wiring, Cracked PCB at connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before inspecting wiring.
- Recreate the fault: With the vacuum running (battery installed), gently move the wand and nozzle to see if movement causes shutoff. Then remove the battery.
- Inspect connectors: Check the electrical connectors at both ends of the wand for looseness or corrosion. Clean and reseat them.
- Check wand harness: Flex the wand gently by hand and listen for cracking sounds or feel for soft spots that may indicate broken wires. Replace the wand assembly if suspected.
- Inspect nozzle wiring: Open the nozzle (if serviceable) and look for pinched or broken wires near the swivel neck.
- Replace faulty section: Replace the wand or nozzle assembly if intermittent wiring is found. If the issue persists with new parts, the main body connector or PCB may be faulty.
