Possible Causes
Blocked filters, Clogged air passages, Prolonged use on MAX mode, Motor cooling vents obstructed by dust
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF, remove the battery, and allow the unit to cool for at least 30 minutes.
- Clean filters thoroughly: Remove pre-motor and post-motor filters. Tap off dust and rinse washable filters with cool water. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clear airflow path: Detach wand and nozzle. Remove any blockages from the wand, nozzle neck, and cyclone inlets.
- Inspect vents: Use a soft brush to remove dust from motor vents and around the main body.
- Adjust usage: Avoid running continuously on MAX/Turbo, especially on thick carpets. Alternate between modes to reduce heat buildup.
- Persistent overheating: If HOT appears quickly even with clean filters and clear airflow, the motor may be failing and should be replaced.
