How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before working near the control panel.
- Clean around buttons: Use a dry cloth or soft brush to remove dust from around the mode button or panel.
- Operate buttons repeatedly: Press the mode button 20–30 times with the battery removed to help clear minor oxidation on contacts.
- Check for physical damage: Look for cracks in the control panel or buttons that do not spring back.
- Reset electronics: With the battery removed, hold the power button (if separate) for 10–15 seconds, then reinstall the battery and test.
