Vacuum smells musty or produces unpleasant odor during use

Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning.

• Empty and wash bin: Remove the dust bin and wash it with mild soap and water if the manual allows. Dry completely.
• Clean or replace filters: Wash washable filters thoroughly and let them dry for at least 24 hours. Replace non-washable filters that smell bad.
• Clean floor head: Remove hair and debris from the brush roll and housing. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry.
