Battery Level Calibration / Indicator Error
Battery indicator LEDs on the handle are inaccurate (e.g., show full but vacuum stops quickly)
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Battery pack aging, Miscalibrated fuel gauge circuit on BMS, Faulty LED indicator PCB, Firmware misreading battery voltage under load
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery pack before extended storage or inspection.
- Step 1 – Perform full charge: Charge the battery until the charger indicates full.
- Step 2 – Controlled discharge: Use the vacuum continuously on a medium setting until it stops due to low battery. Do not restart repeatedly.
- Step 3 – Recharge fully: Immediately recharge to full again. This can sometimes recalibrate the indicator.
- Step 4 – Compare runtime: If runtime remains very short despite full indication, the battery is likely worn out.
Replace the battery pack if capacity is low. If a new battery still shows incorrect levels, the handle indicator PCB or main PCB may need service.
