Possible Causes

Completely discharged or failed battery pack, Faulty power button or handle PCB, Open circuit in main control PCB, Broken battery latch preventing proper contact

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the power switch is OFF before inserting or removing the battery.

  • Step 1 – Verify battery charge: Place the battery on the Bomann charger until fully charged. Confirm the charger LED indicates charging and then full.
  • Step 2 – Check battery seating: Insert the battery firmly until it clicks. Try gently wiggling it; there should be minimal movement.
  • Step 3 – Test charger and outlet: Confirm the charger works by testing another device or battery if available.
  • Step 4 – Inspect power button: Press the power button several times. If it feels stuck or does not click, clean around it with a dry cloth. Do not use liquids.
  • Step 5 – Try starting without accessories: Remove the wand and floor head. Attempt to start in handheld mode.

If the vacuum remains completely unresponsive with a known-good battery and charger, the main control PCB or power switch assembly is likely faulty and requires professional replacement.
