Bosch
Battery Voltage Sag Under Load
Battery indicator shows full, but vacuum stops after a few seconds of use

Possible Causes
Aged or damaged lithium-ion cells, High internal resistance in battery pack, Poor contact between battery and vacuum terminals, Battery previously stored fully discharged
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before cleaning contacts. Do not short the terminals.
- Clean contacts: Use a dry cloth or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to clean the metal contacts on both the battery and vacuum.
- Charge fully: Place the battery on the Bosch charger until fully charged. Ensure the charger does not show an error.
- Test on low power: Use the vacuum on the lowest power setting and time the runtime. If it still stops within a minute, the battery is likely failing.
- Try another battery: If possible, test with a different compatible Bosch battery. If the problem disappears, replace the original pack.
- Replace battery: Do not continue using a pack that collapses under load; replace it with a genuine Bosch battery.
