Motor Overcurrent / Blocked Airflow Protection
Vacuum shuts off shortly after starting, display shows E02 or two-blink pattern, suction weak before shutdown

Possible Causes
Clogged main suction channel in floor nozzle, Blocked extension tube or flexible hose, Severely clogged pre-motor filter, Motor fan housing obstructed by debris
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off the vacuum and remove the battery pack before inspecting for blockages.
- Check dust container: Remove the dust bin and empty it completely. Tap gently to dislodge compacted dust.
- Inspect filters: Remove the pre-motor filter and any foam or mesh filters. Tap them outside to remove dust. If washable (check Bosch manual), rinse with lukewarm water only, no detergent. Allow at least 24 hours to dry fully before reinstalling.
- Clear nozzle and tube: Detach the floor nozzle and extension tube. Look through the tube against a light source; use a broom handle or flexible rod to push out any clogs. Check the nozzle air path and brush opening for hair, threads, or large debris.
- Check motor inlet: With the bin removed, inspect the motor inlet grill for debris. Use a soft brush to clean; do not poke hard objects into the motor.
- Test again: Reassemble and run the vacuum on low power first. If E02 no longer appears, the blockage was the cause. If the error returns quickly with clear airflow, the motor or control PCB may be drawing excessive current and needs professional diagnosis.
