How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before working on the handle or controls.
- Button exercise: Press the mode button(s) repeatedly 20–30 times with the battery removed to help clear minor oxidation or debris.
- Clean exterior: Wipe around the buttons with a slightly damp cloth (water only) and dry thoroughly. Do not allow liquid to enter the housing.
- Power reset: Reinsert the battery and hold the power/mode button combination specified in the manual to reset the electronics, if available.
- Inspect if accessible: If you can remove the handle cover, check that the rubber button caps are not misaligned and that the tactile switches on the PCB click properly.
- Replace handle/PCB: If F5 persists and buttons do not respond reliably, the control PCB or handle assembly should be replaced.
