Bosch
Airflow Restriction / Loss of Sealing
Vacuum has very weak suction even though the motor sounds normal

Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone assembly in dust container, Torn or mis-seated rubber seals between bin and motor housing, Micro-clogs in extension tube or hose, HEPA filter installed incorrectly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery before deep cleaning or disassembly.
- Empty and clean bin: Remove the dust container and empty it. Disassemble the internal cyclone cone(s) as per the Bosch manual. Rinse plastic parts with lukewarm water and let them dry completely.
- Inspect seals: Check all rubber gaskets around the bin outlet, motor inlet, and filter frame. Ensure they are not twisted, torn, or missing. Lightly wipe them clean and reseat firmly.
- Check tube and hose: Detach the extension tube and any flexible hose. Look through them and clear any compacted dust or small objects using a long rod or compressed air (from the opposite end of the clog).
- Verify filter seating: Ensure the HEPA and pre-motor filters are fully inserted and the covers are latched. A partially open filter cover can cause major suction loss.
- Test without accessories: Run the vacuum with only the main body (no tube/nozzle). If suction is strong at the body but weak with accessories, the restriction is in the tube or nozzle.
