Possible Causes
Overheat protection limiting power, Faulty mode selector, Battery unable to supply high current, Internal fault detected by PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and allow the vacuum to cool if it feels warm.
- Cool down: Let the unit rest for at least 30 minutes, then try switching modes again.
- Clean filters and vents: Ensure airflow is not restricted, which can cause the control board to limit power.
- Check battery health: If the battery is old, it may not support high power. Test with a newer battery if possible.
- Mode button test: Press the mode button repeatedly to ensure it is not stuck. If there is no response at all, the button or PCB may be faulty.
- Service if unchanged: If the vacuum permanently refuses higher modes despite good cooling and battery, the control PCB may be limiting power due to an internal fault and should be serviced.
