Possible Causes
Blown LEDs, Broken LED wiring in floorhead, Faulty LED driver on floorhead PCB, Damaged connector between wand and floorhead
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floorhead before inspection.
- Check connector: Inspect the electrical connector at the neck of the floorhead and the end of the wand. Ensure it is clean and pins are not bent.
- Test brush bar: If the brush bar still spins, power is reaching the floorhead, and the issue is likely limited to the LED circuit.
- Open floorhead (advanced): Remove screws and open the floorhead housing. Inspect the LED strip and wiring for breaks or burn marks.
- Replace floorhead or LED strip: If the LED strip is visibly damaged or the small PCB is burnt, replace the LED strip or the entire motorised floorhead assembly, depending on parts availability.
