Possible Causes
Uneven hair wrapped around brush bar, Bent brush bar, Damaged brush bristles, Debris lodged in floorhead
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the floorhead before working on the brush bar.
- Remove and clean brush bar: Take out the brush bar and remove all hair, threads, and debris. Pay attention to one side not being more loaded than the other.
- Check straightness: Roll the brush bar on a flat surface. If it wobbles or appears bent, it should be replaced.
- Inspect bristles: Look for missing or heavily worn bristles on one side, which can cause imbalance. Replace the brush bar if bristles are uneven.
- Clean floorhead interior: Remove any debris stuck inside the floorhead housing that could interfere with the brush bar.
- Test without floorhead: Run the vacuum with just the main body and wand. If vibration disappears, the issue is confined to the floorhead. If vibration remains, the main motor or fan may be imbalanced and require replacement.
