Battery Pack Communication / Cell Imbalance Fault
Cordless vacuum shows an E6 or battery fault icon; unit may not run or runs only briefly even after long charging.

Possible Causes
Failed lithium-ion cells in battery pack, Faulty battery management PCB inside pack, Dirty or damaged battery contacts, Incompatible or faulty charger causing imbalance
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not open the battery pack casing. Lithium-ion packs can be dangerous if punctured or shorted. Only handle the pack externally.
- Inspect contacts: Remove the battery from the vacuum. Check the metal contacts on both the battery and the vacuum body for corrosion, burning, or deformation. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Do not use liquids.
- Check the charger: Plug the Bush charger into a known-good outlet. Confirm that the charger LED behaves as described in the user manual (usually solid or flashing while charging). If the charger LED never lights or flashes an error pattern, replace the charger.
- Charge fully: Place the battery on charge for the full recommended time (often 3–5 hours). Ensure the battery and charger are in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Test runtime: After charging, install the battery and run the vacuum continuously on low power. If it shuts down within a few minutes and E6 reappears, the battery pack is likely failing internally.
- Replace the battery: Obtain a genuine Bush replacement battery pack with the same voltage and connector type. Install the new pack and test. If the error persists even with a new battery and known-good charger, the main PCB battery sensing circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
