Possible Causes

Depleted lithium‑ion battery pack, Faulty Camry battery management PCB, High internal resistance in battery cells, Damaged battery connector in handle

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF, remove all attachments, and disconnect the charger from the wall before inspecting anything. Do not open the battery pack casing; cells can be dangerous.

  • Step 1 – Confirm proper charging: Place the Camry cordless vacuum on its original Camry charging dock or plug in the Camry barrel‑type charger. Verify the charger LED and the vacuum's battery indicator both illuminate. Allow at least 3–4 hours of uninterrupted charging.
  • Step 2 – Check charger and outlet: Plug a lamp or phone charger into the same outlet to confirm power. Inspect the Camry charger brick and cable for cuts, burn marks, or loose barrel plug. If the charger LED never turns on, replace the Camry OEM charger.
  • Step 3 – Reseat the battery pack: If your model has a removable pack, press the battery release latch, slide the pack out, inspect the gold contacts for corrosion or burning, then firmly reinstall until it clicks. Clean contacts gently with a dry cloth only.
  • Step 4 – Cool down the pack: If the vacuum was used until it shut off, let it sit powered off and off the charger for 30 minutes, then attempt to charge again. Overheated packs can trigger undervoltage/over‑discharge protection.
  • Step 5 – Test after full charge: After a full charge, remove from the dock and press the power button. If E1 appears immediately and the motor never starts, the internal battery management PCB may be faulty.
  • When to stop: If the pack is swollen, leaking, or very hot to the touch, do not use it. Replace the complete Camry lithium‑ion battery pack and dispose of the old one at a battery recycling center. For internal battery PCB faults, contact a service center; do not attempt to open the pack.
