Possible Causes
Damaged handle control PCB, Broken trigger switch, Loose ribbon cable between UI board and main PCB, Liquid damage to control buttons
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove the battery. Do not press buttons if there is visible moisture.
- Step 1 – Inspect buttons and trigger: Check for sticky or jammed buttons on the handle. If a drink was spilled, do not power the unit; allow it to dry thoroughly.
- Step 2 – Test trigger response: With the battery installed, see if any LEDs respond when the trigger is pressed. If nothing changes, the trigger microswitch or UI PCB may be faulty.
- Step 3 – Check for cracks: Look for cracks around the handle where the UI board sits. Impact damage can break the PCB or ribbon cable.
- User-level limitation: Accessing the handle PCB usually requires splitting the housing and dealing with delicate ribbon cables. This is not recommended for most users.
- When to stop: Persistent E10 or unresponsive controls require replacement of the Camry handle control PCB / keypad assembly by a service technician.
