Possible Causes
Failed tach sensor in Camry digital motor, Broken motor feedback wire, Obstructed motor fan, Faulty motor driver circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery. Do not attempt to spin the motor with tools.
- Step 1 – Check for obvious obstructions: Remove the dust bin and cyclone. Look into the motor inlet for foreign objects. Do not insert metal tools into the motor.
- Step 2 – Listen for motor attempt: Reinstall the battery and briefly press power. If you hear a click or very short spin then E14, the motor is failing to reach speed.
- User-level limitation: The tach sensor and motor driver are integrated into the Camry digital motor assembly. These are not serviceable at home.
- When to stop: Replace the complete Camry digital motor assembly or have a technician do so. Continued attempts to start may damage the electronics further.
