Possible Causes
Battery pack overheated from extended high-power use, Blocked cooling vents around battery housing, Faulty temperature sensor in battery pack, Charging the vacuum in a hot environment
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF, remove it from the charger, and place it on a non‑flammable surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Step 1 – Allow cooling time: Leave the vacuum and battery undisturbed for at least 30–60 minutes at room temperature (around 20–25°C). Do not place it in a refrigerator or freezer.
- Step 2 – Inspect cooling vents: Check the vents around the battery compartment and motor housing for lint or dust buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air (short bursts) to clear them.
- Step 3 – Check usage pattern: Avoid running the vacuum continuously on MAX/Turbo mode for long periods, especially on carpets. Alternate between power levels and allow short breaks.
- Step 4 – Verify charging environment: Ensure the Camry charging dock is not installed near radiators, ovens, or in direct sunlight. Ideal charging temperature is 10–30°C.
- Step 5 – Retest: After cooling, reinstall the battery (if removable) and power on. If E4 persists immediately, the battery's internal temperature sensor or BMS is likely faulty.
- When to stop: If the battery remains hot to the touch or shows swelling, discontinue use and replace the Camry lithium‑ion battery pack. Contact a service center for safe disposal.
