Possible Causes
Defective Camry AC adapter, Damaged charging dock contacts, Broken DC jack on vacuum body, Internal charging PCB failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charger from the wall before inspecting cables or contacts.
- Step 1 – Test the wall outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm it has power.
- Step 2 – Inspect the charger: Examine the Camry AC adapter and cable for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Wiggle the cable gently near the brick and plug; if the LED flickers, the charger is failing and should be replaced.
- Step 3 – Clean charging contacts: If using a Camry wall dock, inspect the metal contacts on both the dock and the vacuum handle/battery. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Do not use liquids.
- Step 4 – Check DC jack fit: For barrel‑plug models, insert the plug firmly into the vacuum. If it feels loose or wobbly, the internal DC jack may be cracked from strain.
- Step 5 – Try another compatible charger: If available, test with a known‑good original Camry charger of the same voltage and current rating. If charging works, replace your charger.
- When to stop: If E5 persists with a known‑good charger and clean contacts, the internal Camry charging PCB or DC jack is likely damaged and requires professional replacement.
