Possible Causes

Hair or string wrapped around brush roll, Foreign object jammed in floor nozzle, Worn Camry brush roll end bearings, Faulty brush head motor

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the vacuum OFF and remove the battery. Never work on the brush head while it is powered.

  • Step 1 – Remove the floor head: Detach the Camry motorized floor nozzle from the wand or handheld unit.
  • Step 2 – Access the brush roll: Open the brush roll cover (usually via a coin‑slot or latch). Lift out the brush roll.
  • Step 3 – Clear obstructions: Cut away hair, threads, and fibers from the brush roll and end caps using scissors. Check the side channels and suction opening for debris.
  • Step 4 – Check brush roll bearings: Spin the brush roll by hand. It should rotate freely. If it feels rough or seized, replace the Camry motorized brush roll assembly.
  • Step 5 – Inspect wiring and connectors: Check the electrical connector between the wand and floor head for bent pins or burn marks. Reseat firmly.
  • Step 6 – Test: Reassemble and run the vacuum on low power first. If the brush still does not spin and E7 appears, the brush head motor or PCB is likely faulty.
  • When to stop: Replace the complete Camry motorized floor head if the motor is burned or the internal PCB is damaged.
