Vacuum cuts out when tilting or moving the wand in certain directions

Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before inspecting the wand.

• Step 1 – Recreate the fault: With the vacuum running (battery installed), gently move the wand up and down. If power cuts out, the wand wiring is suspect.
• Step 2 – Inspect connectors: Detach the wand and check the electrical contacts at both ends for corrosion or bent pins. Clean with a dry cloth.
• Step 3 – Check for visible damage: Look for kinks, dents, or cracks along the wand.
• Step 4 – Replace wand: If movement consistently causes cutout and no external damage is visible, replace the Camry extension wand with wiring harness.
