Possible Causes
Loose battery latch or contacts, Worn trigger switch, Cracked solder joints on PCB, Loose internal wiring harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the vacuum and remove the battery before inspecting contacts.
- Step 1 – Reseat the battery: Remove the Camry battery pack and reinstall it firmly until it clicks. Check that there is no wobble.
- Step 2 – Inspect contacts: Look at the metal contacts on the battery and vacuum body. Clean gently with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasives or liquids.
- Step 3 – Test trigger behavior: Hold the trigger/power button continuously and gently wiggle it. If the vacuum cuts out when the button is moved, the switch is worn and the Camry handle control PCB may need replacement.
- Step 4 – Check for flex-related cutout: Lightly flex the handle while running. If power drops, internal wiring or PCB joints may be cracked.
- When to stop: Internal wiring and PCB repair require disassembly and soldering; contact a technician for replacement of the Camry main control PCB or wiring harness.
