Possible Causes
Broken brushroll belt or gear, Seized brush bearings, Faulty brush motor, Damaged wiring in floor nozzle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and detach the motorized head.
- 1. Remove brushroll: Open the end cap or latch and lift out the brushroll. Clear all hair and debris.
- 2. Check rotation: Spin the brushroll by hand. If stiff, replace the brushroll assembly.
- 3. Inspect belt/gear: Open the belt cover (if present) and check for a snapped belt or stripped gears. Replace with the correct Candy belt/gear kit.
- 4. Test brush motor: With the brushroll removed, reconnect the head and briefly power on. If the motor shaft does not spin, the motor or wiring is faulty and the head should be replaced.
