Possible Causes
Blocked multi-cyclone assembly, Fine dust clogging cyclone shrouds, Faulty airflow or pressure sensor on main PCB, Dust build-up on sensor port
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery and dust bin before cleaning internal components.
- 1. Empty the bin: Open the dust container and empty all debris. Tap the sides to loosen compacted dust.
- 2. Clean cyclone assembly: Remove the cyclone unit from the bin. Use a soft brush to clean the cyclone cones and mesh shroud. Do not use sharp tools that could puncture the mesh.
- 3. Wash if allowed: If Candy specifies that the cyclone is washable, rinse gently with lukewarm water and allow to dry completely (24 hours) before refitting.
- 4. Check sensor port: Some Candy models have a small hole or channel near the cyclone that leads to an airflow/pressure sensor. Use a dry brush or compressed air (short bursts) to clear dust from this area.
- 5. Reassemble and test: Refit the dry cyclone and bin, then test suction. If E10 persists with clean components, the airflow sensor or main PCB may be faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
