E14
Candy
Docking Station / Charging Contacts Fault
E14 error appears when using the wall dock; vacuum does not charge on dock but charges directly from charger

Possible Causes
Dirty or oxidized dock contacts, Loose wiring inside wall dock, Faulty dock PCB, Misaligned vacuum-to-dock connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dock from the mains before cleaning or opening it.
- 1. Clean contacts: Wipe the metal contacts on both the dock and the vacuum with a dry cloth. For light oxidation, use a pencil eraser gently, then wipe clean.
- 2. Check alignment: Mount the vacuum on the dock and ensure it sits fully down and clicks into place. Adjust the dock mounting height if necessary so the contacts meet squarely.
- 3. Test charger directly: Plug the charger directly into the vacuum (if supported). If it charges normally, the dock is at fault.
- 4. Inspect dock wiring (advanced): Remove the dock from the wall and open the casing. Check for loose wires, burnt components, or cracked solder joints on the small PCB. Reseat connectors.
- 5. Replace dock: If no obvious repair is possible, replace the entire Candy wall dock assembly.
