Possible Causes
Broken motor mount or rubber isolators, Fan blade damage inside motor, Foreign object lodged in fan, Cracked main body housing around motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Remove the battery immediately if the vacuum vibrates violently. Continued use can cause further damage.
- 1. External check: Ensure the dust bin and cyclone are seated correctly. Misalignment can cause vibration.
- 2. Inspect for loose parts: Shake the main body gently (without battery) and listen for rattling. A loose internal part may be contacting the fan.
- 3. Internal inspection (advanced): Open the main body housing and inspect the motor mounts. Check that the rubber isolators are intact and the motor is firmly secured.
- 4. Fan damage: If the motor fan blades are chipped or broken, the motor assembly must be replaced; fan-only replacement is usually not supported.
- 5. Housing cracks: If the plastic housing around the motor is cracked, replace the main body shell or motor housing as specified by Candy.
