Vacuum shuts off a few seconds after starting, motor LED or error indicator shows E2

Safety first: Turn the vacuum off and remove the battery before inspecting the air path or brushroll.

• 1. Check for blockages: Detach the wand and floor nozzle. Look through the wand and main body inlet for clogs (dust plugs, hair, small objects). Remove any obstruction using a long, non-metallic tool.
• 2. Inspect the floor nozzle: Flip the nozzle over. Remove the brushroll (usually by unlocking the end cap). Clear hair, threads, and debris from the brush and side channels. Ensure the air channel from the nozzle to the wand is clear.
• 3. Clean the filters: Remove the dust bin and take out the pre-motor filter and cyclone mesh. Tap gently over a bin to remove dust. If the filter is washable (check Candy manual), rinse with lukewarm water only and allow to dry completely (at least 24 hours) before refitting.
• 4. Test without accessories: Refit the dry filter and dust bin. Run the vacuum with no wand or nozzle attached. If it runs normally, the blockage was in the accessories. Reattach components one by one to identify the culprit.
• 5. Suspect motor issues: If E2 returns even with all filters clean and no blockages, the motor may be drawing excessive current due to internal wear. At this point, motor replacement is usually required and should be done by a qualified technician.
