Possible Causes

Shorted motorized nozzle, Damaged wiring in extension wand, Liquid ingress into electrical connectors, Shorted accessory port on main body

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Remove the battery and unplug the charger. Do not continue trying to power the unit until the short is identified.

  • 1. Isolate the main body: Remove all accessories, including wand and motorized heads. Install the battery and try to power on just the main body. If it runs without E9, the fault is in an accessory.
  • 2. Test accessories one by one: Attach each accessory (wand, motorized head, mini turbo tool) individually and test. When E9 appears, the last attached item is likely shorted.
  • 3. Inspect wiring: For the suspect accessory, check the electrical contacts and wiring for burn marks, corrosion, or crushed sections. Do not use if there is visible damage.
  • 4. Dry out moisture: If the accessory was used on damp surfaces, allow it to dry in a warm, ventilated area for 24–48 hours. Do not use heat sources like hairdryers directly.
  • 5. Replace faulty accessory: If E9 persists with a specific head or wand, replace that component with a genuine Candy part. If E9 occurs even with no accessories, the short may be in the main body PCB and requires professional repair.
