Possible Causes
Completely discharged or failed battery, Faulty charger, Broken power button or trigger, Internal PCB failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Inspect for signs of damage or burning before attempting to charge.
- 1. Check charger and outlet: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power. Verify that the Candy charger LED lights when plugged in.
- 2. Charge fully: Place the vacuum on the charger or dock and leave it for at least 3 hours. Look for any battery LED activity.
- 3. Try a different charger (if available): Use a known-good compatible Candy charger to rule out charger failure.
- 4. Inspect power button: Ensure the trigger or power button is not physically broken or stuck. On some models, the trigger must be held continuously.
- 5. Replace battery: If there is still no response, the battery may be dead. Replace with a new Candy battery pack. If the new battery does not power the unit, the main PCB or wiring is likely faulty and requires professional repair.
