Dust or debris escapes from around the lid or seams of the vacuum

• Check filter seating: Ensure the cartridge or HEPA filter is installed correctly and locked in place per DeWalt instructions.
• Examine tank rim: Look for warping or cracks where the lid seals. Minor warping may be improved by evenly tightening latches; severe damage requires tank replacement.
• Clean mating surfaces: Wipe dust from gasket and rim to ensure a tight seal.
